just got my hands on a pcmcia nic, 3com 3c589B and was thinking of getting my 1200 online. Of course I need a tcp/ip stack and drivers for the nic but I guess I can find this at aminet. The question is: how do i move the files from my pc computer to the amiga without a network?? amiga can read dos disc´s but not hd discs...can my pc read dd discs? or does any1 else has an easy solution?
Im running an old orginal a1200 with workbench3.0. I also wonder how the heck I check which kickstart i have..guess I could disconnect my hd and check the screen during boot but there most be some easier way
