Hi Snoozy,

Unfortunately this ia common problem with CF cards and especially with accelerators. If you remove your Blizzard 1220 it'll probably boot up on a cold boot. I have a Transcend 16GB 133x CF card that shows this exact problem. If I remove my ACA1230 it boots off it fine on a cold boot.

I then bought two 8GB 133x Transcend CF cards and they both work perfectly with the ACA1230, cold and warm boot. I haven't been able to find a solution to the 16GB card, it seems that the boot sequence happens a lot faster with the accelerator plugged in and some CF cards don't initialise in time when the Amiga boots off the HDD.

Cheers

It seems to be a hit and miss affair with CF cards. I've read in forums that some people with Sandisk cards have the same problem. It may also be the CF adapter/CF card combination. Your CF card may work in a different CF IDE adapter. I have ordered a different CF adapter from my current one, hopefully it'll arrive in a week or two and I'll let you know if my 16GB CF card boots in that.
