you can use this cable or that adaptor or you can go even fearther with this.

@doctorq: i have bought one for use it in a tower amiga in the near future but didn't test it yet, so i don't know about it for sure, i'll try and report.

you are right. it's not fit on the a1200 motherboard :madashell:

i'm happy that when i first bought this adapter back in 1998, i take 2 just in case and now i can continue the project without trouble.

maybe i was a bit in a hurry when i put it in the basket, who knows... for someone who searching for a 2.5 to 3.5 adaptor looks ok at first sight...

this ide thing is exactly the one that can't fit at a1200 motherboard ide port so it's useless. for the rams you need a ram expansion board or an accelarator, something like this:

i think you can order it without the extra ram if you want it this way, but the extra ram by it's self it's not so expensive and worth (for me) to have it. more than this, (for me again...) it's better a blizz030 accelarator or a blizz060.
you can search at ebay too and at least for blizz030 search for the mk4 version.
