as far as i remember the amiga output to both the rgb and ttl pins. one of the pins give 5v to the scart to open the rgb port of the monitor. at least this way works with real tv sets. the amiga pin 23 5v goes to scart pin 16. remember always to power on the amiga first and after the tv. and NEVER connect/reconnect this cable when amiga and/or tv is on. i burned down my tv's scart rgb in back in 1995 because i was in a harry. i use the same cable for years now with the 1084 monitor and there is not any limit to power on/off the amiga or the monitor first. just take care with tv sets :-)
