Do not forget to use a suitable cooler for your processor. Look at the the
www.intel.com
site for the power consumption. How many Watts do your PSU have?

The 512 kb cache gives you very much performance. Because the pinpeline to disassemble the instruction is very long. A Celeron P4 has lesser cache memory. That is why the performance is very bad.
