The A500 PSU is fine for a Viper 1260. My A1200 is also in a Desktop case with a Blizzard 1260. It works very well. I don't use the trapdoor cover. You don't have to put a heatsink or a cooler on it, because a 060 processor uses lesser power then an 030. Read some info at:

Can someone review a Viper 1260? Because I want to know if it's the same as a Blizzard 1260, but off course without a SCSI controller.
But will the Viper 1260 have some kind of Cyberpatcher or Oxypatcher included?
Otherwise your 060 Processor crawls like a 030.
