The Bilzzard 1260 will be very hot, but you can use it in a desktop A1200 without problems. You need a better PSU than a standard A1200 PSU and don't put the trapdoor back to allow more airflow.

An A500 PSU is strong enough. I also have 2x64 MB SIMMS, SCSI-kit, Notebook Harddisk and also the B1260. It works very well.
