Funny SCSI HD Story
« on: August 04, 2004, 04:35:33 PM »
Two weeks ago I got a SCSI HD of 9.1 GB for free. I needed a SCSI 68 pins to 50 pins convertor. I wanted to put it in my PC. After I put the terminator and 8-bit SCSi mode on, I booted my PC with Windows XP, but Windows XP doesn't saw the SCSI HD.

So I put it in an external SCSI case and connected to my A1200 with a Blizzard SCSI-kit. I was running Amiga OS 3.9. HDToolbox saw my HD.

Strange that the drive doesn't work in the PC. I tried one more time. I put the Windows XP CD in the CD drive. I choose to intall Windows XP. I could choose to install Windows XP on the SCSI HD. I made a partition and rebooted the PC. Now Windows XP sees my SCSI Drive.

Bill Gates says that Windows is user-friendly, but I think Amiga OS is much better.
