just feed your PPC with + and -5v through the fan connector directly from the PSU making sure the voltage wont drop accross the edge connector of the A1200 motherboard. Im lucky in that my 1D1 motherboard has good enough traces to feed a stedy 5v through the edge connector to my PPC, but my 1D4 motherboard needs the extra feed.

are you listening to what we are sugesting? feed the BPPC directly from the PSU, you can do this by taking the 5v line (red and black wires) from a power connector of the PSU to the BPPC's fan connector...

I personally would advise you to remove the feed you have on the floppy power connector... I personally belive the traces are too thin to feed power into the motherbaord there and you could do more damange than good, esspecially with the 12v line.
