URGENT!!!! I need to get to BATH!

Man this is turning into one hell of a nightmare!

Seems I might not have transport for Bath again! Nick's cars in the garage now until saturday afternoon, so thats shafted the plan to get to Bath.

What myself and Nick need is someone whos going to Bath from either around here or passing by on the way who wouldnt mind picking up 2 Amiga users...

please please please say somene out there is willing to lend a hand... I've put a lot of effort into this show so far, I MUST be there!.

you might find it funny Kronos.. but If I cant make it to bath I cant sell the amiga bits I need to sell to buy my family christmas presents. so laugh away, I shall remember not to take pity on you when things are going wrong in your life.

The train would take far too long to get there, I seem to recall it being 6 hours when I went to book tickets... and at a cost of nearly £100 for the return... If I had that sorta money I wouldnt be panacing as much as I am now.

I dont have a licence, and the guy who does hasnt had one long enough to hire a car... You think I havent tried all the easy options?

thats one option... but would I make it there alive and ontime with a few hundred pounds worth of amiga gear....

I only have the one parent... and I doubt he will be interested in driving another 440 miles to do a spot of christmas shopping when hes a lorry driver during the week doing hundred of miles a day.... :-)

the bus would arrive at 7pm on saturday, and I would be stuck until monday to get back again...

To go by coach I would have to go down on friday, stay over in a hostel friday, saturday and sunday night, to get the coach back on monday... you got any idea how much that would cost me? I am totally brasic all by a few quid ive put by to help pay fuel costs...

I would be up for it... sadly I dont think the driver nor anyone else would be willing to hire a car for us... just too risky in most peoples eyes...
