Lots of Amiga stuff has to go! Some specifics now...
« on: May 06, 2004, 04:12:56 PM »
I have to trim down my Amiga collection seriously in the next couple of weeks. Of course eBay is an option, but I like the idea of using other methods first.

I won't post a specific list just yet, but the kind of things I have are 040 accelerators for the A1200, 8MB ram expansion + RTC for the A1200, small capacity 2.5" drives, LOADS of original games (most with disks and manuals only), including some CD32 titles.
I also have two Atari Lynx II's (one for parts, the other working AFAIK) and Ninja Gaiden cart [no PSUs, but its a standard part]
A BOXED Spectrum +3 - it was used by a programmer before me, so all the games and lightgun, joystick etc are untouched - dunno if the 3" drive works tho, as I have no working 3" disks.
A CD32 for parts - works fine, but can't get off crappy stickers that previous owner stuck all over it.

Please post your wants in reply to this thread, as there's a chance I'll have what you want - honestly, try me!

I can accept PayPal and cash sent registered (US Dollars, Euros and Sterling) and will send worldwide. If need be, I can use private ebay auctions if you want peace of mind, but  I am trustworthy, and have an impeccable ebay feedback rating, and of course am well known to many of you know from posting on this board.

Cheers,
Regards

Cyberus

P.S. Please don't use my AOrg email - if you don't want to post to the thread, use PM instead. Thanks.

edit: I'll try and get some specific items listed here ASAP

edit: Right I have a Picasso II, an unused boxed Mediator 4000Di, a GWO CSmkII 060 and an A4000 [which will need a bit of sorting out, but its working and the battery has been removed]. I also have a BPPC 160 and 040...

1. What sort of "work" is needed on the A4000? (Any pictures available?)

Well, you might want to replace the battery. The fascia is yellow (as you might expect), and I've got 3.1 ROMS but never got round to fitting them. Nothing inherently wrong with it, it just needs a little TLC.

I don't know what the CS is worth really, any suggestions?

I will try and get a list of the CD32 games up here in the next few days. Any specific titles you want?

Hmm...I'm interessted. Has it got the SCSI module? And if so, do you think 150€ is offending?

No it doesn't, but I do have a Fastlane Z3, great condition in original box with manual (in German)...

edit: and I do have the manual for the CS, and more 72-pin SIMMS than you can shake a stick at (i.e. lots)
I also have two 8MB 30 pin SIMMS for the Fastlane, although I haven't tested them in the Fastlane...

Okay...doesn't really matter much though, as I have SCSI on my 4000T anyway; I forgot the MKII is SCSI-II and not SCSI-III. Are you intending on a auction here on amiga.org or is it more like first-come first-served if the price is right?

@ Morley
Are you still interested in the CS then, without SCSI kit?

@borat

I've got an Apollo 040@25 MHz and the same at 40 MHz [the latter I may yet keep].

Make me an offer?

@ ANDYG and vpcs

I will try and get a picture of the Fastlane up today if possible. As I said, its in good boxed condition, including the disk, original box and manual (which is in German).
Make me an offer?

Guys, I'm looking for *offers* for all of this stuff. If you want more details, I can try and get them.
I'll try and get photos of the Fastlane and Mediator today, and then get more photos/details as the week progresses.

Cheers

@MAD

I have a fair few SIMMS, and a proper SIMM tester, that's capable of running extensive tests.
What size did you want and what speed?

[Unfortunately I won't have time to test each SIMM in the CS]

@ thread - sorry. I have been in Canterbury all week, and haven't had the chance to take pictures and sort out what I've got at home. I've replied to some PMails, and will try and respond to questions on the thread over the weekend.
I have an Apollo 040@25 that I'll test over the weekend, as it hasn't be used since last year, and I need to go through the SIMMS for MAD [I'm not sure I'll have many over 16 or 32MB, but I'll have a look]. I've had a fair bit of interest in the Fastlane, at the moment I think the highest offer is 50 Euros.
