A round of hearty handshakes are in order
« on: November 20, 2004, 11:38:34 PM »
I would've suggested a group hug, but it might scare the homophobes away, or result in me being labelled a 'liberal' :-)

So for no particular reason, other than I'm in a good mood and this place is 'my favourite waste of time'
:knuddel:

Feel the love! :-)

Joking aside, this is one of the best evenings posting I've seen in AGES. Like, literally a year or so!

Damn, I wish I had more :pint:

I'm not sure if I could find one crusty enough

edit: How's this! :-D
hehe, I just noticed that karlos post - synchronicity?

edit again: Dodgy quick editing of image to make it fit - and it shows, eh? I'm a linguist anyway, not an artist
(and a cunning one at that ;-))

Good to hear it Chris!

Anyway, gentlemen, I shall bid you goodnight...

All that lazing around drinking beer and watching rugby and football highlights has taken its toll

I am sure we shall engage in some fine fooling on the morrow.
(Or technically 'today')

edit: ey! Eyso has turned up!
:knuddel:

later peeps :-)
Bah, I guess I could have one more crafty beverage...:-D

tsk tsk, Cyberus, "Biercrisis" isn't something to be taken lightly! ;-)
I wouldn't have a housemate to steal beer/wine from

My housemate is 'teetotal' - i.e. he doesn't drink at all!
He opened a bottle of wine a few days (!) ago, when he had guests. That is why this oxidised wine tastes so bad.

I would have to go to the pub (yup, also about 4 o'clock in the morning pubs are still opened here :-))

gah! you know that they close here at 11pm! :pissed:
that was like 2.5 hours ago...

Anyway, I wouldn't go to the pub on my own...

(I have just moved to a different part of England, and don't have any friends here)

I think you should have groaner's corner all to yourself Karlos!

;-)

edit:
Ah, that's why I saw someone looking shifty and holding a sock on their way to 'groaner's corner' ;-);-)

@ whabang

was your weekend suitably wild....?
I guess 'hangover' answers that question.

Hang on, you said 'hung over for the first time ever'!!!
:-o

I don't get hangovers often - last nasty one was in Berlin two months ago - but I've certainly had more than one in my life!

I find if I'm hungover, I get very silly the next day.
However, if its one of those 'once in 3 years' kind of hangovers, I just want to crawl into a corner somewhere and die....
I remember walking around the streets of East Berlin feeling like death :-(
