I've seen some people selling A4000 k/bs for totally over the top prices. When I bought my A4000 (well it was a 2nd A4000, to try and get one working from the pair), the seller had sold off the keyboard separately. How kind of him.
There's nothing wrong with splitting up systems (i.e. expansions) to try and get a bit more cash, but actually gutting the machine (he'd also sold the HD cradle!!!) is just bad IMO.
