Driving. Does it really bring out the MONSTERS in us???

Yes
It can really wind me up sometimes.

But these days I let idiots go past me. Always think to yourself "Go and take your accident elsewhere"

My pet hate are BMW (every time in my experience) drivers who flash you to get you to pull over, when you're in the outside lane on the motorway going as fast as you can (there are cars in front, so you can't go any faster without driving into the back of the car in front). {bleep}ing arrogant {bleep}s. Think they own the road!!! {bleep}s. See, even thinking about driving has made me angry

I find that to be safe on the road, not only do you have to make sure that you drive safely, at an appropriate speed for the conditions (I do drive fast, but only when I know its safe), but you also have to keep an eye on all the other drivers.

Be ready to get out of a hole because of someone else's lack of judgement - like when you're driving along happily at about 60mph, and then some idiot coming the other way decides to overtake, and you have to break sharply so they can get in, as they're going FAST. You have to be ready at all times to rectify other people's mistakes - people pulling out on you, general stupidity, even people who are tired or have had too many :-(

I find myself getting angry when I see other people putting themselves at risk too. Often will I shout 'f'ing idiot!' when I see someone doing something dangerous.
But tend to be calmer when its just people wanting to overtake etc. I just think - maybe they're late for work, or for an interview, maybe they're rushing to see someone in hospital, relax.....breathe....relax

STOP HOGGING THE MIDDLE LANE OF THE MOTORWAY!

Ohh, don't get me started on that! Ignorant lazy so-and-sos don't realise they make the traffic flow so much slower on the motorway by sitting in the middle lane.

Undertaking is dangerous, its illegal [for a very good reason], and it annoys me when I see cars (why is it always BMWs and Mercs?) weaving impatiently through the inside lanes. But I can kinda see why they feel the need to do it.
I find myself undertaking people without even realising it sometimes - I'm doing 80 in the inside lane - no slow moving lorries or anything, and you do end up going past people sitting in the middle lane doing 70. Now its somehow illegal for me to carry on driving at the same speed in my lane, because I'll pass them :-?, and technically, to pass them legally, I'd have to go all the way out to the outside lane, go past them and then come all the way back to the inside lane.

Ignorant {bleep}s.

Oh and queue jumpers. Why should everyone else wait, and then let someone in who goes whizzing past the queue and then forces their way in? If everyone was an arsehole like that, there'd be chaos.
