I'm sure I did read someplace that this card (C=2630)
didn't like being over-clocked more than up to 28mhz.
(but that was probably with the 25mhz chip)

Also .. whats the difference between an 'XC' 68030RC25
and an 'MC'68030RC25 ??
Is 1 a 5v and the other a 3.3v chip ??


If you have a look here it has some info on processors. It says that XC versions are older and less tolerant of heat and overclocking - sounds a bit vague to me. I'm sure there's better info about, or someone on here will know... Have you tried Motorola's website?
