Hi all,

I've ported TeXLive 2012 for MorphOS (see http://www.morphzone.org/modules/newbb_plus/viewtopic.php?topic_id=9322&forum=3#102290) and want to upload it to the Aminet. But I tried it many times now, the file does not appear and I'm also unable to write an email to aminet@aminet.net (server timeout). In the IRC channel seems to be no one. Does anyone know another way to contact an admin?

I saw this thread and  your PM on AW this afternoon, but I just got home and it's midnight now.

Your packages arrived properly on our server, we're just experiencing some server issues (again). With the server admin being sort of MIA, solving these issue tends to be a rather time consuming process.

I'll get in touch with you tomorrow, sorry about the delay.

any news about my upload? Should I try again?

I'm sorry for the delay - I spend my entire spare time today doing stuff for another Amiga website, sometimes I simply lack the motivation to get working on the next site's problems.

I tried to fix the issue yesterday (which is simply a problem with file extensions, one script is too dumb to realize that foo.readme belongs to foo.tar.bz2 (note the two dots)), but the server is in a rather miserable state. And that's a polite description.

I'm trying to reach the server admin (which isn't easy, believe me), I'll get back to you asap.

@ciVic
In the past Aminet had problems with large uploads.  Donno if they were ever fixed.

That's not true, we're hosting several files bigger than 100 MB. I actually remember inviting you to upload an unpacked version of your game.
