First the sad news:The AresOne Mini 1000 and 1600 are no more available.

Now the good news:ARES m-7 is now the most sold ARES system ever, followed by ARES One 2010.The difference may be that the AresOne was really bought by Amigans... I believe it is different with the m-7.The Ares m-7 will be continued as long as possible.

It features Firmware updates over Internet (without OS). Boots in seconds (<5). Ubuntu is in 2 seconds up. I didn't test Win8 yet. Measured from pressing the power-button.

In 2014 we will have 3 different platforms:
Ares Cube (S, M, L ) (Intel Celeron, i5, i7)
AresOne (surprise)
Ares m-7(i7) becomes xE2(Xeon E2)

Now the real buyable news: ...........

Put that aside! I have found that AROS is releasing a PPC AROS computer that allows AmigaOS 4.1 to work on it? Is that confirmed 100%? I notice that it is still cheaper to get a PPC clone to run AmigaoS 4.1, plus all the flavors of AROS and possibly even MorpOS all in one system...then to spend 3k USA to buy an Amiga brand name hardware that only runs AmigaOS 4.1 and Linux and nothing else.

However, can I order the PPC from AmigaKit or Versatile website?

Hello,

the AresOne PPC will be revised in short (specs, case, os-options and price).
Remember: It is just a SAM460 based system (AROS is hosted, AmigaOS 4.1 native). MorphOS isn't ready yet but i believe in TeamMOS : )

Are you intending to release an affordable version..say same price as an x86 based AROS machine? If it is an affordable price range....something close to 600 bucks USA or something like that...I will be skipping the x86 version all together and will buy me OS 4.1 machine. I am dreaming I understand.

If you want MOS+AROS+AmigaOS4 on one machine... than no because the board alone is expensive.

If you can live with AROS+AmigaOS4 than it could be done with SAM733.

I want the SAM733!!! How much would that cost...I can afford up to 800 bucks...is that within the price range for SAM733 as a full system not just the motherboard?

Hmm... looks not so good:

I could offer a SAM733 system as follows:
Fractal Core Case
SAM733
1GB RAM (max)
500GB HD
DVD-RW
Radeon 9200 128MB PCI
AmigaOS 4.1 preinstalled (+CD)

For 879€ End-user price, there come no VAT on top.
This is:
1210$ + shipping

A bit above your budget ; )

Ok....1210 is indeed above my budget but I have to consider the fact tht 1210 is still pretty cheap compared the AmigaOne X1000 in Amigakit where it costs 2800 USA to buy it...almost 3k to be honest. So even if it goes fro 1400 it is still cheaper than 3k. I will save up money and when I believe I have saved enough I will come to you.

Can i reach you at http://www.ares-shop.de? What is the email address to reach you personally when I want to do the order? When i attempted to order any computer from that website it only demands picking it up from you guys..you do not ship...through that website....do you ship internationally or world wide? Do you ship to Canada?
