I am looking for a WiFi PCMCIA for A1200

I am seriously looking for a WiFi PCMCIA card or AN ACTUAL compatible with an A1200 USB WiFi card that WORKS 100% with an A1200.
 
Concerning the PCMCIA card I am looking for it that is updated with all the necessary patches and that Amiga 1200 can detect it with the software such MiamiDX and can go WiFi.
 
Concerning the USB memory stick I want one that you either have or in eBay THAT IS GUARANTEED 100% to work on the Amiga 1200 if I hook it right into the USB Sub. That MiamiDX can detect the WiFi stick on the USB and I can go right into the internet (even if it means slower connection verses the PCMCIA).
 
If anyone can help me on this I would be greatly appreciate it.
 
P.S "As a side note. If anyone know a good working MMORPG game for the Amiga 1200 that works on a 68030 with AGA and 128 MB of RAM, please can you point out the cool MMORPG game with still good community on it. I would REALLY love to play an MMORPG game on my A1200. Thanks in advance."

For pcmcia grab a Orinoco gold, they are cheap and plentiful. Use the PrismII drivers off aminet. the problem with some 1200's is they need the card reset patch etc,also found on aminet.i use these cards in my A600/1200 and they are flawless.

A good usb ethernet dongle,the linksys 200M is cheap and works well. its slower than a pcmcia card i think.. at least when used on a subway.

Here in is the thing. I need it to support WPA/WPA 2. I cannot do wep. Does anyone have a WiFi card for amiga 1200 that does support WPA/WPA 2 with all the patches of hardware of the card etc. Or can anyone direct me in eBay with the right card or if you direct, please , to a USB card that does support WPA/WPA 2.

One 100% compatible card with WPA/WPA2 is NetGear MA401 which I owe and works perfectly on my WPA2 network for my A600
 
There is a perfect guide that I used to upgrade the Firmware and Station for my PCMCIA card making from WEP only to WPA enabled.

This is the solution I wanted however there is one problem. My PC does not have PCMCIA port even though I have Windows XP and everything.
 
If you can direct me to a link for A VERY CHEAP PCMCIA to USB where I can hook it into my PC you would have saved my skin big time.

the gold supports wpa with the right drivers for it if my memory is correct.

OK, this card looks really interesting. It maybe the solution to my problem but I want to clerify something with it:
 
1) Are you sure it supports wpa/wpa 2 for amiga 1200?
2) Are the drivers in aminet or are their any drivers for it in the amiga in general?

Orinoco gold just supports 128 bit WEP as standard, the silvers are 64 bit.

It did not answer my question directly. However indirectly it does not support WPA/WPA 2. So anyone know of a cheap pmcia to USB port so I can have pcmcia port for my PC?

If that is the case, then all problem will go away. All I have to do is follow the instruction, flash the netgear card and have it support wpa/wpa 2 finally allowing my Amiga 1200 to be WiFi supported.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MECHY!! So all I need is to get RATOC REX-CBS52 PCI to PCMCIA 16 32 bit Dual Slot CardBus Reader RICOH 5C486 and my PC have the ability to read PCMCIA cards. When I have this installed, I just follow the instructions in that website and I will be upgrading the netgear to support wpa/wpa 2. With these instructions I should finally have my Amiga 1200 support WiFi with WPA/WPA 2 encryption ability and I can finally access the internet on my A1200 through WiFi.
