That's about as insane as paying $2,800 for a C=128, but at least you have the excuse of a bidding war. Asking $425 for tiny piece of silicon that lets you connect outdated hardware at least deserves a OMFG.

I shudder to think that someday these parts will be so rare, that this will actually be what they cost.  Somebody bring on more after-market replacements for these items!

Uh listen, I am not making this up. I have two A500 power supply one works in USA/Canada and the other works in Europe (110v and 220V). I am willing to sell them both for you for just 40 bucks for both of them. Meaning, each one of them will be solved for 20 bucks. Interested? I want to get rid of them myself.

I also have three external Amiga disk drive, I would be more than happy to get rid of them also. Since I have an A1200 and will be using WHDLoad most of the time I would not be needing additional disk drives. Each disk drive I will sell it for 20 bucks as well.

Most likely it is temporarily out of stock, some sellers will increase the price to deter further sales when they are awaiting more stock from their supplier,
just means they don't have to end the current listing.

I saw it when it was at $2k already. Didn't place a bid. I reckon Id pay $900 though. But that would be my limit.

AH! You said you would pay 900? Funny that is how much I paid for an A4000D all together and honestly I would not pay $900 for it. Just because it is a price of an entire computer..no. I would stick with 040. But problem I am facing is AmiBlitz 3 is very much processor intensive and 040 is too slow for this application. So if I am going to do anymore Amiga classic hardware purchase it would be a 060.

Hey DutchinUSA I will take your offer I want a 060 @ 66 Mhz card really for my A4000D. You said you will offer something for a lot less money, right? If I sell my 040 card for 400 dollars would you be willing to sell me a 060 card for 600 dollars plus shipping and handling? It just my 040 @ 25 Mhz does the job for what it's intended..but if I want to use more intensive applications such as using AmiBlitz3.5 on it...it is unbearably slow...every single key press in the keyboard take 4 seconds for the word to appear...it is slow. If I want to watch hv movies it is unwatchable..the frame rate is 5 fps...and certain other apps is just too slow for it.

Actually Curtis after what I have seeing, 300 dollars for an A3000D computer is pretty cheap. Have you not seeing the pricing in the market lately? My A4000D is not brand new, it have seeing enough of the days passing and it cost me 900 bucks. So yeah!
