Noisetracker disks update.
« on: November 01, 2011, 02:46:40 AM »
Hi guys,
I am now able to transfer files using a null modem cable and Amiga explorer.
What do I need to put on a floppy disk in order for noisetracker to recognize it?
It asks for ST-16, ST-17, ST-18 and ST-19.

Thanks

Ok,
Do i put the exact file from aminet.net on the floppy, or do I have to unpack it?
How do I name the floppy?  I'm new at this.

Hi,
Are these instructions for 1.3?
Also how do I install a lha unpacker?  All of the ones I found in aminet are saved in the lha format. I can't instal them because i cannot unpack them, confusing!

Hi,
I kinda figured it out.  My noisetracker tries to load the St-16/17/18. But they arent loaded into the program.  However it doesnt ask for it in DF0 like it did before.

How do I delete or remove assigns?
also, how do i put these St files on a floppy, it asked for them in DF0 anyway.

Thanks

hi

I found out how to put the files on the floppy.  Noisetracker does recognize it, however the samples that are ST-XX are different than what are on the floppy.  so when the song looks for a certain sample on ST-XX none of them match what it is looking for....

I fixed it!

I FIXED IT!
I found out that the ST-15/16/17/18/19 were already on the hard drive.  I just had to make assigns for them.  However they do not save when i power off.  Im assuming this happens because i cannot get the startup sequence command to work.

I could use some help!

Hi,
I dont need the Workbench 1.3 floppy to boot it.  It boots off of the hard drive.
When i type in ed s:startup-sequence.  It says unknown command ed.
If i type assign, i can see ST-00 through ST-14.
Everything works fine when i type in all of the correct assigns for ST-15 through ST-20,
When i reboot i have to type all of that in again, it wont save them.

Do I have to type the quotation marks?
Echo "assign ST-16: PRO:music/Inst/St-16 DEFER " >> S:startup-sequence

Is that right?
