Quake (P.C) Help please?

It`s been a while since I played but I have just met 2 Quake virgins (if you can believe that!  ) and promised them it would be great fun online

Quake is crap IMO play something like Mohaa

Mohaa works quite well on a 56k modem as long as you have nothing else running, but its quite laggy if you have an aol connection and use anything above aol 6, Spearhead works even better on a 56k modem i get a ping of around 130 to 180 so not much lag.

Yep your sure right there, my main system is a pc but i dont goto pc forums, this is my home here, it gets a bit heated now and then but overall this is a great site with loads of great people :-)
