When i had green screen on my 1200 people were all going on and on about faulty kickstart ram.
In my case it was a damaged trace under the kickstart rom chip that could only be seen once the rom chip was removed.
Before suspecting your ram i would take a magnifying glass and conduct a full exam of the circuit traces of your motherboard...repair of damaged traces is often only a 2 minute soldering task:)
