Zipstik microswitches
« on: November 18, 2011, 04:40:43 PM »
Hi i have a zipstik joystick but the fire buttons don't seem to have the definitive click of the buttons i remember when i was younger. So i thought about changing over the internal microswitch fire buttons. Does anyone know where i can buy these from...are they generic cherry microswitches?

Here'a a pic of the internals of the zipstik if it helps:

The fire buttons (and microswitches) are located on the right side of the picture.

Thanks if you can offer any advice

Does anybody know if these are the correct microswitches for controlling the x and y axis movement of the zipstik joystick?

The fire button are working ok but the directional (especially left) is playing up, are these switches plug and play?? This is my impression when i look at them inside the zipstik

ok thanks daedalus, i will import them from china.

Are these just plug and play, the connectors seem to be a very tight fit but i can't see any solder..
