I don't suppose anyone here realizes just how much money they are asking for IB2.3, do they?

Why in Sam's #$!$  would I pay $55 for a browser?!!?  Not if it supported the features I want, not if it come with a JVM, just no.  I am sorry, the price doesn't reflect on it's usability.

IB guys: I'll go so far as $35 USD.

Regards,
Targhan

@SlimJim

I do understand the ramifications of a small / verticle market.  However, that price is far too high considering that they may charge that again for the next upgrade.  Even if they didn't, their competition is $40 (V) or free (AWeb).

Nothing against IB, it's a good browser (for the market it's in), and the upgrade seems really nice.  But... That's too much to ask.

@Nick

Not registered, because I've registered AWeb (before open source) and Voyager.  At the time, for each product, it was the best decision.  I get the feeling that at $55 they are trying to PUNISH those who would otherwise register.

Maybe I wouldn't be so condesending on the product if for the $55 it had everything it needed, but it does not.  I'm not talking about the lack of a JVM either.  JS isn't up to par, no CSS, spoofing is handled very well, no Flash, etc.  Sorry, for the amount of money they want IB needs an upgrade badly.
