Well that blows. Itnis in the first 4GB. I used the file system ID the manuals tells me and set the block size as the manual tells me. Maybe Ill install again and see. I didnt wait long to see if its just searxhing scsi devices. My 3.9 install takes forever to boot so maybe this does too.

If it's in the first 4GB, setup correctly, and set for the highest boot priority, it should work. But again we never tested it with a PFS partition present. Perhaps that is causing grief. I just don't know.
The other issue is that if you have the wrong version of SFS installed in the RDB, it won't boot. One that isn't compatible, or not 68k. That's another gotcha.
You could always try on a clean disk to see if you can get it to work...
