The CS PPC scsi controller is supported and works.  I am booting OS4 classic off the hard drive attached to my CS PPC's scsi controller...so I can confirm it works.

I don't know why this poster's isn't booting.  If it boots successfully into OS 3.9 with the same hardware setup then I don't see why it would not also work with OS4.

I have the exact same problem with my CS PPC.  So I bolted down a heatsink on top of the PPC and made it very tight...now it is much better.  Not 100% perfect, but better.
