There's also the not so small matter of the GPL licence that UAE uses.

Anyone want to place bets on them violating the GPL as well as selling games they don't own the copyrights to?

How do you think that will happen if they are prepared to give away the UAE
source void of the actual game disk image?
I imagine for individual game distributions, the same emu could be used,
so that only a single UAE package applies to all games until they modify UAE.

Given that they will most likely be selling games they don't own the copyright to what makes you think they'll respect the rights of those who wrote UAE?
