As a non-android user, can I buy this for $1 and use the ROM images for non-android platforms?

 Once you have bought it I can't see of any technical reason stopping you from doing that, but if you don't use Android how will you be able to use the Play Store?  Perhaps you could install the Android SDK and use the Play Store from within the device emulator.

Not sure UAE4Droid is the best possibly Uae4all2 as it can emulate an A1200

So can UAE4Droid.  It has much better UI too in my opinion.

I stand corrected, it auto updates on my tablet so never saw the read me that mentions the new core, also i agree about the ui.

I thought it was just me that preferred it as all the reviews of UAE4All2 are glowing but I just cannot figure it out for the life of me.

Glad I'm not alone!
