right, here are the news:

All of us had a lot of fun, was very nice to talk to all the people. I myself found out, that -if you want to have an Amiganoid Notebook - MorphOS will be the way to go. From my impression it seems they are working hard in order to support all hardware incl. Powermanagement on those Notebooks. Great.

Seems, as far as I can judge, AROS is a sort of "comeback" OS for former A500/A1200 users. good fun !

Sounds like it was a great event.  If only there was a similar event in the UK this year.
