Actually, AROS does boot on some Intel Macs. And if it doesn't there are also the options of OS-X-hosted AROS and using a VM.
AROS CDs are live CDs, so you can check if your keyboard and mouse work before you install. I read that MorphOS supports Bluetooth input devices on PowerPC Mac minis, because Open Firmware presents them as USB devices to the OS, so maybe the same thing will happen on an Intel Mac.
