cnet.device is only for wired cards.

prism2.device shouldn't be any more CPU-intensive than wired drivers since WEP and other wireless-specific stuff is mostly done by the card.

All the cards I have definite information about are mentioned in the driver docs, so download it from Aminet and have a look. If I knew the answer I'd tell you, but I don't have the information to hand just now. :-)
