A1200 PCMCIA SLOT BEING NAUGHTY..................

I think I've seen a card that behaved like this in an early revision A1200, but not in a later revision. You might have to get a different card.

The hard drive doesn't spin up, so software can't be run. In any case, this looks like a different problem to that solved by CardReset.
