Wow... so that's what the inside looks like, another one of life's mysteries solved...
I did attempt using one of those Dremmel tools many years ago try to remove the resin from one of mine, but all I ended up with was a pile of black dust and some sawn through chips...
PS: The dust tastes like flat cola that's been lying in the sun for two days...
