Hi could anyone give me an idea what these items are worth. I have an Apollo 1230/25 with 8mb fast ram. Expansion for the 2.5 inch ide port 40 pin which makes it into 4 44pin slots. For 3.5 inch hd and dvd/cd. And a 14 bit pcmcia soundcard along with Octamed Soundstudio original disk.

I can only tell you the average eBay prices for the UK... :)

The Apollo 1230 @ 25Mhz + 8Mb RAM sells for around £125 to £140... :)

The 4 Way IDE Buffered interface sells for £30 to £40... :)

From my experience the accelerator card is probably 100-125 dollars. Individual Computers made a bit of a dent in that market.
Ebay varies of course.

I'm sure Boombaxx is in the UK Runequester and even at $125 with is roughly £76 in the UK, you wouldn't get one of these boards for that price here... :)

There is a big difference in prices in the US compared to the UK when it comes to stuff like this especially on eBay which I check every day and the prices I gave are the recent selling prices over here... :)

think il go for aca1230 again then lol only 99 gb pounds from amiga kit plus has 64 megabyte ram and warranty

Yup the price has dropped even the 42Mhz version is down to £136... :)

But these older boards still fetch high prices on eBay (especially blizzards) mainly due to the fact that they can have an FPU installed on them or more than 64Mb of memory which many folk still require... :)

I've also found it quite surprising the number of folk I've spoken to on eBay who don't even know AmigaKit is still in business, especially folk looking to buy 3.1 roms who buy them each week from the German guy on ebay for only a couple of quid less than AmigaKit charges...

I'd rather buy my ROMS from AmigaKit instead of waiting nearly 3 weeks for them to arrive from the eBay seller (which I tried) and for what, to save myself 2 quid... :)

A pity AmigaKit don't sell refurbished Accelerators like they do with the A1200's as I'd rather buy from them than taking my chances on eBay... :)

Oi! You quoting me Franko! ;) I would too rather buy Amigakit.....if only they did the A4000D ROM's and not A4000T! OR I could get a copy of 3.1 workbench.library! Surely that must be on my A1200 ROM??? Can I get it off?.......

Sorry......for being a troll or post scorer....changing the subject or whatever else the Elite think about me going off subject.....but *middle finger* whatever!

I'm pretty sure the workbench.library in the A1200 3.1 ROM is a different version from the A4000's... :(

You could extract it  from the ROM but it's not quite a simple as that and I'm not sure if the Workbench.library that comes with 3.5 or 3.9 would work instead, they might but I can't be sure of that... :)
