To me other than HDs and an 060 board it's the best bit of kit you can add to an A1200... :)

If you want to easily transfer data between one machine and the next or an Amiga & PC or MAC then the use of any type of memory card even with the cheapest multicard reader/ writer is a breeze and much better than those compact flash "HD" thingies... :)

You can easily hook up digital camaras, MP3 devices and basically any storage medium that uses USB with ease, there are lots of other stuff you can use it for (mice etc...) but for my own use and the ease of which it does it ie: data transfer then it's worth every penny and I would be without it... :)

Hi,

Make sure you read the directions, look at the illustrations very carefully, before putting it on. If you miss by one pin, then you cannot only destroy you subway, but you could also destroy your A1200. In other words don't get in a hurry to put it in and try it out, it could lead to disaster. This I know from experience. When the smoke gets away from your electrical components, the electrical item quits working.

Hi Smerf... :)

Thought that was down to the dreaded mistake you made when you tried to plug a Snickers bar in instead... :)

Cheers

Franko

PS: It's on you're napper this time so don't pour hot maple syrup on it.... :D
