I dont suppose he's anywhere near to you is he?

I'd love to take a gamepad or two off the guys hands, if someone could ship them (I'd pay for the shipping of course)
Ditto for a copy of Wordworth (if it includes manual)

Sorry I dunno... :(

He used his proper name and not his membership/username so I have no idea which member it is as I don't keep personal details on anyone... :(

You could post a message in the forum asking him to contact you if you wish, as he's giving it away for free and can't be bothered with ebay but he may be willing to send stuff if the postage costs are covered... :(

@ Runequester

Did you get my email... you were rejected cos you didn't follow the instructions (numptie) that's what the big notice is for on the join page... ;)

@ Lordspunky

Trouble is I don't know his location and I don't have any more space just now for more Amiga stuff... :(

I know this might sound a wee bit daft but... does anyone here who is also a member of CommodoreScotland.com know who "Derek" is !!!

I've been looking through some of the membership list and can't find anyone called "Derek" trouble is a lot of folk use nicknames/usernames when they join and so it could be any member really, unless it's someone here or someone here knows who it might be... :)

Erm... think that's right, reckon I need to ask a few more questions when people join and keep tabs on em, kinda odd all these folk lurking about me site and I haven't a scooby doo who half of em are... :insane:

Hope none of em are nicking me shiny teaspoons, think I'll need to hire a bouncer... :D

ah, I'll try it again tonight when I get off work

Sorry bout that Runquester but it's the way the site hosts work the thing and I can't even change the text in the join box to reflect it, hence the reason for the big red notice... :(

Well usual thing, can't collect. Petrol would cost me same as buying a 4000/040 off scumbay :roflmao:

If I can found out who & where he is and if he's nearby I could collect the stuff myself and arrange shipping/postage for whomever wants it...:)

@ ChaosLord

I know it pees me off too... :(

I've asked the so called "technical help dept" of the site hosts if they can change it but none of the useless buggers have a clue how to... so the text on the forum page remains at that piddly little size that can only be read by those with eagle eyes or those with milk bottle bottom glasses on... :(

Ruddy stupid so it is but then they're probably running everything on windoze and no one there apart from the cleaning lady has ever heard of the Amiga... :(

Reckon I'll just have to give away a free magnifying glass with every membership... :D

@ LordSpunky & RMK305

How did you guys manage to post on the forum when it's only supposed to be for members !!!

 Security Breach... Call the cops... don't panic... don't panic...

Hmm... as you two guys have managed to post there with being members that makes me wonder if "Derek" isn't a member and that's why I can't find him on me list...

Hopefully he'll answer someone soon but the forum thingy is so ruddy slow & footerie that no-one (including me) really goes there very often... :)

You forgot "gibbering keech" in your signature.  I always wondered what that meant.  All I can figure out from your writings is it somehow applies to Barry and Bill.  But I haven't worked out a precise definition.

When you were a wee lad and your parents taught you the secret proprietary encrypted language of the Scots, did they by any chance give you an instruction manual I could have a look at?

"Gibbering Keech" is the same as "Talking Jobbies"... :)

It's not a secret language it how you speak proper English (should be a law against calling anything English, but that's for another day) then again I'm from the west coast (Glasgow) and I can hardly understand what folks from the east coast (Edinburgh) say half the times and them up north (Aberdeen), forget it... they rattle their gums in Swahili I think... :)
