You really need to secure the Amiga naming rights in Scotland! :)

AmigaScotland.com is in the pipeline... ;)

But I'm still working on AmigaUK.com and CommodoreScotland.com and so it will have to take a back seat for a wee while... :)

Just one thing though neither AmigaUK.com or CommodoreScotland.com will ever try and con the Amiga community with false hopes and promises... :)

We are dedicated to giving everything away for free... :)

"We arra People..." :D

Apple does this kind of branding too. Behold Apple Water.

Anyone who buys bottled water needs their ruddy head examined, bottled water has to be the biggest con of all time... :)

Maybe but unlike you franko i can't just walk outside and pick up a hand full of muddy snow and through it into a bowl on the kitchen table and wait for it to melt so i can drink it.

You kidding me...

The amount of rain you've had down under recently, I was surprised not to see Nohas Ark floating by on me telly screen... :)

Also downunder we are more sophisticated in that we don't drink our own bath water unlike they do in the uk  :)

If we did drink our own bath water we would have all died of thirst by now cos we only have bath once a year... :)

Stick to sheep dip, plenty of that in upside down land and I hear it gets you drunk as well... ;)

I'm not sure sniffing pesticide is a good thing. If you really want to sniff something may i recommend a squirrels bum. I've heard it's a great alternative to ciggies. Let me know how it works out :hammer:

Um... not sure how we got to sniffing things from talking about drinking things, but then I'm never quite sure how you arrive at some of your conclusions... ;)

Anywhoo, sniffing squiggles bums is not easy as they tend to scurry around a lot and they've got very sharp teeth and claws, plus lighting them up can be a bit of a bugger when they're damp... :)

OK follow me here. I didn't know what it was so i googled it and it said it's where they spray sheep with whatever. Notice the word 'spray'. A spray is a gas. You can't drink a gas. You can only sniff it or inhale it. Silly Billy :hammer:

I take it the day you went to school it was shut... :(

Sheep dip as any upside down land person will tell you is a liquid you can either dip yer sheepies in or spray them with... :)

What on earth makes you think a "spray" is only a gas, you can spray liquids too. Methinks your either as daft as brush or living downwind of a sheep farmer who's been spraying his sheepoids recently and you've inhaled too many micro droplets of the sheep dip "Spray" that was in the air... :)

Anywhoo don't go googling things it only rots your brain cell and it's my turn to use it next... ;)

I propose Amiga branded Electronic Smokeless Squirels!

The cool thing is that they could look like boing ball and only emit a "harmless" vapor.

Started on the prototype, think I may have overdone it on the sheep dip though...

How can you spray a liquid? hmmm lets think about that. Fly spray coming out of a can - is that a gas or a liquid? I think the Franko should have payed more attention in school. He can't tell the difference between a spray and a squirt :hammer:

How did that squirrel get so fat

Ah gei up wur you ya numptie...

The squirrel got so fat because I "SPRAYED" him with "LIQUID" plant growth... works a treat on squirrels... :)

I'd better write to the manufacturer of this "LIQUID" plant growth that comes as a "LIQUID" in a "SPRAY" bottle and tell them they're doing it wrong... ;)

Wonder if they've gave up and went to an Atari site... :)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Following negotiations with Nicholas, I am pleased to announce I have secured exclusive rights to the 'Commodore', and 'Amiga' names in the UK and Ireland.  I have a £200,000,000 advertising budget and wish to work wit da community.

Don't worry.

You won't feel a thing.

He he... I'm gonna nick em from you and use them on my Scottish sites...

We've got our own laws ere and everybody flouts them, and we love a good fight, past few hundred years have been boring since those soft southerners in England gave up trying to invade us... :)

They apparently had a war there that devastated the country and only ended 35 years ago.  It's remarkable what they've done in 3 and a half decades.  Probably one of my favourite places in SE Asia.

Sorry Persia but I have to say this... That has got be one of the saddest statements I've ever read in my life... :(

What next...

Apparently the world is round....

Apparently creatures called dinosaurs once roamed this earth...

Apparently the education system doesn't work... :(

Anyway, Vietnam is a magical place.  You have to realise that Adults 35 and younger were born after the war and that you have to be almost 40 to actually remember it at all, which means that 2/3s of the population doesn't remember it.  I think they've done well to preserve it as sort of a patriotic moment but not dwell on it.

Sunrise Beach as a tourist destination full of hotels is a far better legacy than it's old name of China Beach and it connotations of destruction.  The ability to move on is a wonderful thing.  It's a bit like (South) Korea.  Remember the past but don't dwell on it.  Live in the present.

The food is great, the people friendly, the beaches good.  I remember wandering the streets of the tourist capital Da Nang late into the night and never having any fear of crime.  Vietnam is a country that has a bright future.

Don't take this the wrong way Persia I'm not having a go at you, it's more a sad disbelief of how bad the education system and general lack of knowledge in some younger folk seems to be these days... :)

I was only a toddler when the Vietnam war was taking place and we were never taught about it in school, for me it is like most things in life you learn about them as you grow up, whether it be from TV, books, newspapers or just talking with folk in general... :)

But to say because folk are under a certain age is an excuse for not knowing about such important things that are part of history and have indeed played a major part in shaping today world is just wrong... :(

I wasn't born (believe it or not) when World War 1 or 2 took place, nor when convicts and children were shipped off to Australia just because they were orphans and considered undesirables by society, nor was I around when dinosaurs roamed the earth... :)

Point is, using age as an excuse for a lack of general knowledge about life and the history of this world is a sad reflection on society today (young and old)... :(

Looking to the future without a knowledge of the past is one sure way of guaranteeing history repeating itself again and then the future doesn't look so bright... ;)

Anyway, lessons are over for today and sorry for sounding like a miserable old fart, guess it must be my age or something... :)

Like many, having spent a not so small fortune on Amiga & Commodore products over the decades I reckon we should all slap the Amiga name or Commodore logos on anything we use or sell new or second hand... :)

(we bought em, we own em... :))

Sod IP/ Licence Agreements/ Copyright and all that other legal mumbo jumbo that means naff all when it comes to the Amiga or Commodore... :)

Sod all those poxy companies that have robbed us all over the years and kept the Amiga from being developed or even kept alive because of their pathetic court cases and closed door dealings, that have done nothing but leave the Amiga in limbo... :)

Sod the feckin lot of em... :)

I'm off now to make a fresh batch of genuine Amiga bagles and bottle some genuine Amiga tap water to sell at the car boot sale today... :)
