WHDLoad odd problem?

That is weird, I can run WHDLoad games from any one of the 30 different partitions on my two HDs and never have any problems like that, do you have problems with any other software or data stored on DH1: or is it just with WHDLoad stuff...

Actually it's a lot safer that way, everything is categorized and should something go wrong with a partition you don't lose everything stored on your HD and it's easily backed up from DVD...

More evidence is that its large files that he is loading that are crashing, again pointing to Max Transfer issue.

I see he's using one of those 4GB compact flash drives, they are nothing but problematic to say the least, to get up and running correctly if you don't set the Max Transfer right.

On one of my old A1200s with a GVP030 board all games run fine including the one's you've mentioned, the the only thing I can suggest is you set the ToolTypes/Options for all your WHDLoad games to NoCache & PreLoad, as these the options I use for running most games without any problems.
