Lateral HD on A1200

As I've already said thats one hell of a neat solution, just wondering though is the CD drive read only and do you know if it's possible to buy a CD/DVD burner drive that could be fitted in the same way you have done.

I quite fancy having a got at one of my old A1200's the way you have done, but would really prefer it if I could add a CD/DVD burner.

It's an HP (that's what it's written) TS-L462, althought it seems it's Toshiba-Samsung. It seems it can read DVD's (I haven't tried it) and record Cd's (I don't know how):

I'm not sure if I have asked before, but are my icons at the windows what everybody have with Dopus or are they only for the Amikit version?

Not quite sure by your post, do you mean you don't know how to burn CDs yourself or you'r not sure if your drive has the ability to burn CDs...
