I reformatted my OS3.9 partition and did a fresh install of OS3.9 (Did NOT install 3.1 first)
I rebooted but it will only get to the AmigaDOS screen and wont boot up.
I typed in LOADWB in dos but it said "invalid resident library"
I am guessing this might be happening because the A4000T unlike other Amiga's needs some sort of special Workbench installation.
Now, i do NOT have the original WB 3.1 disks of the A4000T, but rather i have original ones of an A1200 (which are of no use)
Any way i can fix this, maybe i need a certain file or something?
EDIT: Oh if this helps in any way, i have Workbench 3.1 installed on another partition. Maybe i can take a file from there?
EDIT 2: Workbench.library IS present in Libs
I haven't used an A4000 for years now, I only use A1200s these days, obvious question here are your roms 3.1 ?...
One of the best utils for tracing such faults like this is SnoopDos, but as you can't boot up you'll probably need to create a separate floppy for SnoopDos and run it that way. It should help you find which library is causing the problem...
