Hello,

i have here a C=1942 Monitor, work fine.. But 2 times, the monitor goes black screen, then if you turn off and turn on again, all returns to normal..

Anybody happen something like this with any C=1942 Monitor too?.. I do not think that is about to die, but you never know what could happen.

remember .. do not pass any other problem, such as fading, or toher problems..

Comments?..

regards.

Hi I had the same problem a number of years back on my 1942, its was simple enough to fix. The problem was some dry joints on the Line Output Transformer and a quick resoldering job fixed it. Sound like thats what's up with yours. If you need the service manual for it just let me know and I'll send you it in PDF format.
