I can't really decide. My time is split between emulation, classic and "next gen"...

so I'm not sure how I'd go with trying to burn on the Amiga with that. The A1200 has USB on it, so I'm willing to give it a go if there's a chance we can get it to work.

All you need to burn DVD's with an A1200 setup is either the 4xEIDE or FASTATA MKIII board and the DVD Burning & Ripping tools that I have placed on Aminet.

You forgot several possible options for the poll:

1.  Classic Amiga ie: A500, A1200, A2000 etc...
2.  AmigaOne, SAM, etc...
3.  PC / MAC with Amiga Emulation
4.  MorphOS on Efika, Pegasos1&2, G4 eMac, or MacMini
5.  AROS on x86 hardware
6.  MiniMig running Classic AmigaOS1.0>3.9
7.  Amithlon running Classic AmigaOS
8.  AmigaXL running Classic AmigaOS
9.  FPGAArcade running Classic AmigaOS1.0>3.9 (and a dozen or so other computer, or console FPGA cores)

Make that at least 5 other choices and 1 more a possibility in the very near future, that should have been included in the poll!

I use #'s 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, & 8, with 4 being the most used and 1 a very close second.  I hope to have #6 some day, or #9 when it is available for purchase by the general public.

I didn't forget any "options" your options 4 to 8 can quite simply fall under options 2 or 3.
How can I include 1 more possibility (9) of something that may appear in the future, ( I may be a bit Psycho, but Im not a Psychic !!!) :crazy:

You lumped quite a few groups into one, I think that is what some people are compaining about. Some of us are kinda touchy on the subject. Personally I use Winuae the most but I want to use AROS more.

I don't want to be lumped into AmigaOne (meh) or SAM (very expensive meh)

From some of the response's I've had from your side of the pond in my posts, I'd have to say touchy would better being replaced by touched... :biglaugh:

Are we so different? Are we any more opinionated or biased? Only Amiga users make it possible .



Just for your information, some of us "over here" stand up and fight for what we believe in and love. I voted for classic as that's all I use. 3000T with CSMK3 68060@75MHz with Mediator+Voodoo4+FastEthernet. Waiting for and programming for, (in the purest way possible, 68k assembler) the return of the beautiful 68k through fpga. May the Natami and MiniMig+ bring in a new era of Amiga computing .

Believe it or not mate, I agree with almost everything you say, your a man after my own heart ie: Amiga, 68k and strong opinoins.

Just make sure you keep me on my toe's, as I enjoy our little exchanges.

The hard bit, earning a medal beside your name... You have to be an insomniac like myself (and Mad As A Hatter) and type away as many posts as you can, until the green bar reaches 100%. Then they give you a medal in the faint hope that you'll go away and stop bugging everyone. :roflmao:
