Ahh... It's been so long since I've had to work I'd actually forgotten that FRIIIIIDAAAY! for most folk was the end of a hard working week... :)

Although cos I used to mainly get paid on a Thursday my working week usually ended there, straight to the boozer after work until the last bell, so Fridays were generally a sicky day for me at work... :)

(Often wondered why I never got sacked... :))

I sort of miss that weekly celebration a wee bit, though being Tee Total now for nearly seven years if I ever had to go back to work I'd need to practise drinking again first... :)

The socks thing becomes an everyday occurrence when you retire... :)

You know, I don't even miss alcohol one wee bit anymore, it does lead to some very interesting observations though on how folk change when your sitting in the pub with friends and watching them get totally peed as the night wears on... :)

(reckon Bloodline does that already... :lol:)

You need to retire and live the easy life like I do, all that work & stuff just causes too much stress and shortens your lifespan... :)

Early retirement is great, you end up with so much time for all those things you never got round to doing for lack of time or being too tired, and instead end up with so much time you still don't get round to them cos you keep saying to yourself "I'll do it tomorrow"... ;)
