Another Paint / Anim program you can use is Cloanto's Personal Paint v7.
It supports custom screens, AGA, and multiple file formats, like JPEG, BMP etc.
I use it more then Dpaint.

And another item, if you are more serious about your animations, you probably need a graphic tablet. Old WACOM serial work good with accelerated Amiga. When you are interested, I can dig one out and tell you the model number.

This Pad works good with Wacom Drivers found on Aminet here http://aminet.net/package/driver/input/Wacom_150 . To use it, you'll need 9-25pin serial converter.
