I'm not an expert, but I can tell you what works for me.
I have PNY FX5200, SB 5.1 Live and 3COM network card.
I'm also using an older EIDE HD, because newer types don't work as a boot drive.
Icaros 1.4 was not working out for me, was freezing at random times, and previously the v1.3 worked fine, so I'm not sure what changed.
I then changed to v0.8 AROS Broadway and it seems more stable.
