Err No......Analogue to Analogue <> Missing or NC Pins to Digital HDMI
As a later poster mentioned you need a Analogue VGA to HDMI converter like the Geffin...sorry lots of cash....OR....invest in an A to D upscaling AV receiver like a Yam 2700/3800 or better 
It's not as expensive as it once was. you can buy an active vga + audio to hdmi converter for around $40 at monoprice.com. Pointless but not as expensive as it once was. BTW it's useless without a scandoubler.
