If JetFireDX believe's in AROS and what it can do for him   then I would say he did just buy an OS... Sure AROS has a ways to go .. however once properly implemented it may become a very viable OS.

That's thier choice isn't it?   So what if it is a hobby does that mean it'll be useless? Look at 90% of the emulators out there most of them are done as a hobby and get used quite often.   Does that make them useless too?   Hell I thought linux was originally a hobby too I could be wrong tho.   Many things start out as a hobby that doesn't make them a waste of time or useless.   If people want to support someone else's hobby because they think they'll benifit from it then that's thier choice.
