Rocket Ranger - Lunarium codes don't work

Hi Everyone. I am playing Rocket Ranger, and the Lunarium codes don't work. I am entering 23 for the amount of Lunarium to get from the USA to the Atlantic right at the beginning while the zeppelin icon is showing over the Atlantic, so I can rescue Professor Barnstorff, but I keep falling into the ocean.
 
Any idea why the codes aren't working?

That was it! I must have the European version.  

Too bad too because it looks like the Lunarium usage is about 50% more than the American version.
