If you visit amiga.com, you might see some amiga-snowflakes on the main page.

The big disappointment here is that the Amiga.com website is still not updated with urgently needed factual information, only seasons greetings type fluff!

Not Good!

The unprofessional business structure of AmigaInc continues on. If this doesn't change soon, then is it safe to assume that Amiga Inc is indeed going out of business?

But the page WAS updated... with snowflakes on the main page and a 'seasons greetings' message... yet NO other important factual updates to prove  that Amiga Inc are a serious business.

Did you read the other more interesting thread about this?

Of course, that's why I started this one,  so that I could get my own point across. :-D

The new CAM is already a BIIIG GOOOD NEWS.

CAM is not news or business related, it is an online  fan club  magazine.

Well, lots of us will be in Bath this weekend and lots of REAL Amiga A1's will be sold. Fleecy will be there representing A inc - sounds like a SERIOUS business to me.

Believe me, if I could be there this weekend, I would definately go!

hehe.. to get my picture taken with Fleecy Moss would be priceless!

CAM is not news or business related, it is an online fan club magazine.
Have you read this months' CAM then... I thought not.

I would prefer to see news and information open to the general public, the entire world including the development community, not just a small number of people who belong to the CAM fan club. :-D

Wouldn't the fact that the Amiga Inc website *was* updated with an Christmas message indicate that they were still around?

I would prefer to see accurate, concise, factual content posted on the amiga.com website.

It amuses me that some people will whine and bitch that they haven't said anything when they aren't under any obligation to do so.

By your logic they aren't under any obligation to be in business either!

BTW: Who is 'whining/bitching'? Certainly not me!

They have said stuff - in CAM, which admittedly isn't publicly available, but is good to hear.

Fan Clubs are great for the fans. I am not a fan or a fan club member. I am only interested in real development, marketing, PR, and things related.

But, there is no pleasing some people - they could announce that they had replaced Windows as the OS of choice for Dell, and *someone* would complain that it should have been HP or Gateway.

How does this metaphor compare to the amiga.com website content?

Now, if you were looking for this announcement, would you go to amiga.com to read about it, or would you believe it if it was just a post on ann.lu by an anonymous poster? :-D
