> it seems that Motorola, unlike IBM, are trying their BEST to slow, if not jeopardise dangerously, the PPC750 integration.
I don't think Motorola are trying to slow the market, I think its just incompetence. Motorola are too busy re-inventing the cell-phone to have any interest in making powerful processors.
Now IBM are the REAL leaders in processor technology. I laugh at the term 'IBM compatible'.. its more like 'genuine IBM inside' :-D
> Now BBRV, (God I hate this guy) after much vaporware announcments, is actually SHIPPING a new machine.
Who is your God and why do you hate BBRV? :-D
> Linux is really working, usable, and scares the HELL out of the IT business.
Much of the IT business has embraced Linux. Its the M$ centric market that fears the open source GPL that the Linux platform brings. What will all those Visual Basic coders do? :-D
>This is 1985 all over again !
In a way I agree with with you, but this market has a huge uphill battle.. and its not between Pegasos and A1 (these a complementary products).. its really how APPLE and Microsoft will react.
> TV companies, even the NASA are waiting.
But neither the A1 nor Pegasos really offer tv companies or NASA anything out of the box.
